A. James Sarkisian graduated from Valparaiso University in 1980. He attended law school at Depaul University and Valparaiso University from 1980-1983, representing Valparaiso University at numerous renowned mock trial competitions throughout the country, as its team captain. Shortly after graduation, Jim embarked on his litigation-oriented career and became a Deputy Prosecutor representing the State of Indiana in Lake County, and went on to also represent the State of Indiana on behalf of Porter County, protecting its citizens by prosecuting criminal offenders.
